WHAT IS REFACING?

Cabinet refacing is an ideal choice to change the look of your cabinets without altering your existing floor plan.  You select a new door style and color; wood veneers are added to cover the existing face frames and cabinet ends.  Refacing eliminates the disruption caused by removing and replacing existing cabinets. It is a simple, cost effective way to update your cabinets.  We can change countertops, add new drawers, add new cabinets or custom built pieces to create an island or desk area, and we can adjust cabinet sizes if you decide on new appliances.

HOW DOES REFACING WORK?

After you select door style, wood specie and color, a home visit is required to do a complete measurement of your existing cabinet openings. After materials are ordered, we notify you of the installation date and request that cabinets be emptied.  The project installer begins by removing the doors and drawer fronts.  Cabinet modifications are added next, along with the paneling of the face frames. The side panels are added to create flush or finished ends. If you are adding a new countertop the existing top is removed.  Upgrades such as tilt-out sink trays, Blum Motion drawer glides and valances are installed. The new door and drawer fronts are attached and any adjustments are done at this time. Once this is complete, the new countertop will be installed, and you can put everything back into your cabinets, sit back and enjoy!

Here is a great video on a recent project!
